Welcome!  My name is David Hill. My Photography business is based in New Milton Hampshire. I am quite willing to travel outside of the New Forest should the need arise.

Experience:

I am an experienced Photographer with a passion for various genres of photography.

Being a family man with two teenage daughters, I am very comfortable around children and young adults and from the feedback I have received; they feel the same way about me.

This allows for a relaxed and fun environment to take pictures. This in turn means we end up with natural looking shots. They will often show your family within a chosen environment i.e. a favourite place to play, your home or a walk on the beach. Whatever suits you.

Being patient is a vital part of what I bring to the shoot. Children don't react well to being told what to do. I prefer a more natural approach and simply allow the children to be themselves. In turn, you will end up with shots of your family that are not overly posed. 

I realise the importance of meeting with families and clients prior to the shoot and spending time with you. This allows me to understand 'The brief' in more detail and for all parties involved to familiarise themselves with me. This leads to a more relaxed shoot and better pictures.

My skills and passion for all things photography extend beyond portraits. For example, I have been involved with commercial shoots such as promoting a local Delicatessen, Restaurant and multiple shoots for a local potter to show off his work.

I also run an 'Introduction to Photography' workshop for those new to photography or those more experienced but unsure how to progress out of the 'Auto' mode.

Being a dog owner myself, I love being around pets and photographing them.

My intention is to provide you with an enjoyable, personable and fun experience from beginning to end. I provide a bespoke framing and printing service. I can bring samples of frames to you at home and give advice and guidance should it be required. Other products are available such as greeting cards, canvases, books and calendars.
